Hello everyone and welcome to another e-zine from Christ's S.O.S Outreach. March is here and summer is almost upon us again, and the way time is moving Christmas will be here again soon.

Christ's S.O.S Outreach has been working from the Citra Community Center since November, a big thank you to Bruce and the Citra Improvement Society Board of Directors for letting us use the facility to help the community.

We have added new services and now have an Intake clerk, Kay to help us stay open 4 days a week. We are working with other state agencies to bring more services to the Citra area, as we are in need of many services here.

Our food pantry is now empty and the Star Banner story that ran on us did not yield any help at all except for 2 calls, one was a donation of food and the other an offer to do a benefit for us in May. I had hoped the community would respond to our request for help or even the other local agencies but they did not. We will be referring clients to Interfaith Emergency services when our last food bags are gone.

We are praying God will give us a new building to work out of because we are not allowed any storage space in the community center, so it is hard to keep clothing and other items that we need on hand to give to clients. I know God will do something, as it is his ministry and not mine. I will follow his lead and it will all work out.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

thanks for reading and may God bless you!
